Have my properties be linked to/from other sites.

Setting that limit to 3000 or whatever shouldn't be a problem, for Syndication.

The newest version of Jomres has the limit much lower.

17
Ok, that issue is fixed now.

18
What error do you see?

19
Your post was about Jomres2jomres, which is different from the Syndication network.

The purpose of the syndication network is to allow you to have your properties be linked to from other sites. It doesn't allow you to download properties from other sites.

What, exactly, were you hoping to achieve?

20
What are you hoping to achieve?

Jomres2jomres will probably have problems importing tariffs if you set those input vars too low. It's likely that your server has a limit to how many input vars it'll allow. I chose 20,000 because it's a practical figure for tariff data however it doesn't surprise me that the server balked at it.

In the Jomres plugin manager there's a message to say "Do not install the CMF plugins until you've visited the REST API test page to confirm that your configuration can perform REST API activities" (or, words to that effect).

Did you visit the REST API test  page first? If  you did, did it give you any recommendations?

How do I....? / Re: All listings

Eg. If I go to admin> module manager and choose "Image slider - tours" and assign it to "all listings", than it's not being displayed.
So we're getting back to the template issue... (I guessing again)...

It wont be shown because All Listings is the Jomres page so you can't simply assign shortcodes to it because it's the component view. This isn't an issue with the template.

Did you try moving the module to the module positions : " position-1 position-2 position-3or position-4 "?

1. Please see my reply here http://forum.jomres.net/index.php/topic,17.0.html

2. If you choose to follow my suggestions here http://forum.jomres.net/index.php/topic,391.msg631.html#msg631 and create a page based just off of search results, you could do something like use another shortcode eg. something like {jomres show_property_slideshow &property_uid=1} (again, see the shortcodes page in Admin > Jomres > Tools > Shortcodes) to create an All Listings page that is utterly unique to you. You're not forced to use the default Jomres layout however you'll still need a menu option somewhere that property managers can use to take themselves to their dashboard to manage their properties.

If to choose to use a non-Jomres slideshow, then that's up to you but quite how you would add it to that page is outside of the scope of what I can answer. You would need to read up on the slideshow plugin to determine how it can be added to a page's content.

How do I....? / Re: Main page modules

It's always possible that the Featured Listings plugin has been uninstalled, which is why I asked.

Go to Admin > Jomres > Dashboard menu section > Plugin Manager.

On that page you can see if the Featured Listings plugin is installed. If it's not, you can install it from there.

Once it is installed you can go to Admin > Jomres > Portal > Featured Listings and decide which properties you want to list in that module.

Please note that once a property is marked as featured, any searches performed where that property is found as part of the search results then that property will be promoted to the top of the search results list, regardless of the display order set by the user.

All listings isn't a module, it's the Jomres main page. If you're not a property manager, by default you'll see a set of search results.

If you want to show something different, instead of that menu option linking directly to the Jomres component you could link to an article instead and in that article you could add a search shortcode, for example {jomres search &country=GB}

If you use the Admin > Jomres Tools > Shortcodes page you can see the shortcode options that are available to you. The shortcode list for search is dynamically generated and gives you

{jomres search &country=GB&region=1111&town=Torquay&feature_uids=32&room_type=2&ptype=1&priceranges=100-200&guestnumber=1&stars=4&arrivalDate=2021/06/18&departureDate=2021/06/19&cat_id=1}

but of course you wouldn't want to use all of those options, so you'd trim it down to look something like

{jomres search &town=Torquay}

or

{jomres search &feature_uids=32}

or

{jomres search &cat_id=1}

Ok, if you've done many multilingual sites before then you are more of an expert than I am.

Please let me remind you of the support policy here https://www.jomres.net/support-policy

The Leohtian template is a gift, a freebie. I don't charge for it, it's purpose is to give you something to work with, nothing more and I don't provide support for it. I strictly only provide support for Jomres itself, that's already enough work.

You're welcome to use another template (or template framework, if that's your bag) if you're familiar with another system. You're absolutely not forced to use Leohtian but if you use another template based on another version of Bootstrap and not BS3 then please remember to visit Admin > Jomres > Settings > Site Configuration > Misc tab and tell Jomres to use the appropriate template set, for example Bootstrap 2.

The problem you are experiencing is not with Jomres. Jomres doesn't do anything with languages except use it's own language strings depending on the language defined in the URL, as you can see here

https://github.com/WoollyinWalesIT/jomres/blob/master/libraries/jomres/classes/jomres_language.class.php#L38

Once it knows the active language, it choose the appropriate language file. That's it.

If you're having a problem with the redirection URL once you have added a new language then ergo is must be something to do with your configuration.

Given that T3 is a framework, I did some googling for you and found these results :

http://www.t3-framework.org/documentation/bs3-customization#multiple-language
https://joomlaux.com/blog/item/71-how-to-create-multi-language-for-t3-framework-template.html
https://tutorial.joomlageek.com/T3/how-to-use-multi-language-joomla-3-t3-framework

Hopefully they will be helpful for you.

As I said earlier, please remember that you're not forced to use Leohtian. There are plenty of other free templates you can use if you want, if you're more comfortable with them.

Leohtian is based on the T3 framework, you can find the documentation for that here https://www.t3-framework.org/

Take a look at the shortcodes page for whatever plugin you want to show. The shortcodes page will list arguments that the plugin will accept.

I'm afraid I can't really advise you about that because it's not Jomres related. I can only recommend that you follow these instructions very closely.
