Standard Tariffs
« on: October 27, 2021, 09:13:50 AM »
Good day  Vince

Hope all is well on your side.

Regarding the Standard Tariffs Model.  Currently it is only for SRP and not for MRP, I had a look and notice that you are using Booking.com OBP model, witch is exactly what we are looking for.

When will we be able to use the MRP with the Standard Tariff's Model?  I also came across Booking Automation (   https://www.bookingautomation.com/wiki/Jomres  ) where they also explain that only the SRP can be used.  It is currently a nightmare trying to
accommodate MRP, because we also cant set seasons tariffs to the child occupancy or to witch room type it has to be.

This link is more in detail witch you have read.
https://www.bookingautomation.com/wiki/Jomres

Please we need to be able to use MRP with the Standard Tariff Model.

thank you.

The standard tarrif mode is one tariff for each room type. This is enough for you to work with booking automation, you can setup "linked" prices with the linked prices you create one price for each occupancy level like you would do in Jomres, than map all the prices to the same Booking.com rate plan for example.

Jomres Tariff for room 1 for 2 guests, mapped to Booking automation Daily Price 1

Daily price 2 = 3 persons this would be linked from  daily price 1 + 10€
Daily price 2 = 4 persons this would be linked from  daily price 1 + 20€

So if Jomres send to BookingAutomation Daily price 1 a value of 50€, than you would have

Daily Price 1 up to 2 persons -  € 50
Daily Price 2 up to 3 persons -  € 60
Daily Price 3 up to 4 persons -  € 70

Map all this daily prices to the same Booking.com rate plan and set in Booking automation OBP prices this will send as occupancy based prices to Booking.com

Hope this helps you.

Good day

Thank you for your reply, but as I mentioned the Standard Tariff type is only for SRP and also the extra guest prices are cross board, Vince mentioned this also in the following link.  https://github.com/WoollyinWalesIT/jomres/issues/468

The other major problem is that child guest types do not have any "from" and "To" date fields so that we can set different tariffs based on seasons or holidays, we also need child guest types to be allocated to room types.

These issues are a daily struggle for us

thank you
